Lately, I’ve begun to think outside of time, outside of days. After all, time is a man-made notion. 24 hours in a day, 7 days in a week, 52 weeks in a year (save those nasty leap years), an uncertain amount of years in a life. Since I can’t act, I was thrilled when he offered me the position of executive producer. That sounded like an impressive title, but I soon came to learn that the role consisted of only one real responsibility – writing a check.

Climbing a mountain is exhilarating, challenging, and rewarding. No matter how high it is, every ascent has some things in common. The anticipation grows as I climb higher, I become short of breath, and keep asking myself, “Why am I doing this again?” But then I reach the top. I am immediately reminded of why I love these exhausting (yet rewarding) experiences.
